Digital Media, Projection Design & Technology for Theatre 

The Chinese translation of the 1st edition of Digital Media, Projection Design & Technology for Theatre was published in 2023 by the China Institute of Art, Science & Technology.

From their public announcement:

“The project "Translation of ‘Theater Digital Media Design and Technology Practice Guide’" describes in detail the business processes, content creation, equipment selection, installation and construction involved in theater projection. This translation can be used as a textbook for beginners in this field, or as a work manual for practitioners, and has high value in this field. The translation completed by the research team is nearly 300 pages, more than 200,000 words, and includes more than 60 drama design engineering cases. The translator also provided a 20,000-word professional terminology glossary, which laid the foundation for future technical exchanges in this field. This project has a great guiding role for personnel in related industries such as theater digital media design and stage design applications, and will help promote the development of digital performing arts technology.”
